Patterns to get started

These small patterns come from the stixiva editor's library: hearts, flowers, fruit, animals, sky and seasons, a house and borders. Small and quick to stitch, they decorate a card, a bookmark or the corner of a tea towel, or go alongside a name.

Each page gives the stitched preview, the printable symbol chart, the DMC floss with its stitch count, and the size of the pattern on 14, 16 and 18-count Aida.

FAQ

Before you pick a pattern.

Another question? Email us at contact@stixiva.com.

Are the patterns free?

Yes: the charts display and print with no account and no sign-up.

How do I make a pattern bigger?

Stitch it on a coarser fabric (11-count Aida instead of 14), or stitch each square of the chart as 2 × 2 crosses.

Can I add them to my project?

Yes: in the stixiva editor, these patterns are in the motif library, and “Place” drops them onto your chart, floss included.

Build your project in the editor

Place a pattern on your chart, add a name, a border or your photo, then download the PDF pattern with the floss list.
